註冊中醫師何顯妍解釋，中醫對體質分出9大類，包括平和質、陽虛質、陰虛質、濕熱質、氣虛質、痰濕質、瘀血質、氣鬱質及特稟質。特稟質是較罕見的體質，屬遺傳性，即使以飲食調節亦未必有幫助。
